In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Islamic Faith Society in New York City – United States – is a nonprofit charitable organization. Since its establishment, it has been an active society adhering to the methodology of the righteous predecessors in belief and practice. The society engages in numerous educational and social activities, uniting many members of the Muslim community. It corrects their understanding, guides them away from deviation, helps them improve their conduct, and assists in raising their children and nurturing them to safeguard them from doctrinal and moral deviations. The society also works to preserve the Islamic and Arab identity of its children.
Furthermore, the society is involved in conducting marriage and divorce proceedings and mediates disputes within the Muslim community.
From this perspective, the Islamic Faith Society of New York, from its inception, has undertaken the responsibility of establishing Islamic centers represented by its various mosques. It has also established different schools to protect the essence of Islam, elevate Muslims’ dignity, and rescue their children from the abyss of profound loss that could lead to the abandonment of religion and identity.
